Question; Where are the East Boynton Beach Little League fields located?
Answer: The fields are located off Woolbright Rd, between Seacrest Blvd and I 95 overpass 

Question; Can I play at East Boynton Little League regardless of where we live or where my child attends school?
Answer: For the 2025 season and beyond, Little League players age 4-7 (League Age) can participate in any Little League program they choose, regardless of their residency or school attendance. This change is detailed in Little League's Regulation II.  Players 7-16 must be live or go to school within out EBBLL boundaries.

Question: What equipment does my son or daughter need to participate in Little League for East Boynton.
Answer: Your son or daughter will need the following equipment: Bat (with a USA stamp on it), glove, plastic baseball cleats, protective cup (male players only), and a helmet.

Question: What division is my son or daughter eligible to play?

Question: I don't think my child is ready for the next division. Can my child "play down"?
Answer:  You must register your child for the division in which their birth date falls under. If you wish for your child to be evaluated to play in the lower division, you can email the board and ask them to be evaluated at the start of the season.

Question: Can my child "play up"?
Answer:  We recommend for players to “play up” in the fall season. If you wish for your player to play up in the spring, you  must register your child for the division in which their birth date falls under and then send an email to the board and advise them that your child would like to be evaluated to move up. You then MUST attend the evaluations held in January.  It would ultimately be the Board’s discretion on whether or not your child will move up.

Question: Can I request my child to be with a certain manager or with certain teammates?
Answer:  NO. We have close to 400 players in our league and simply cannot honor any requests. .

Question: Where do I send my registration paperwork?
Answer: You will hand all of your paperwork to your Manager the first week of practices. 

Question: Do you offer family discounts?
Answer: Yes, you will receive $10.00 off for every player you register after your first player is registered.

Question: I have 2  children, can they be placed on the same team?
Answer: Yes, your children will be placed on the same team if they are in the same division, unless you instruct the Board of Directors to place them separately. If your children have different last names, you must email the BOD and advise them.

Question: How do I get a refund if I change my mind.
Answer: Contact  [email protected] and let them know you would like a refund, you will be refunded your registration fee minus $10.00 for bank charges.  If uniforms have been ordered, you will be ineligible to receive a refund.

Question: When does baseball start?
Answer: We are very fortunate living in Florida because we get to play baseball all year round. West Boynton offers two baseball programs.

  • FALL SEASON: EBBLL fall season is non-competitive and more of learning season for the players moving up to a new division or for those that will be playing their second season before moving up during the next fall season. Teams are created by the Divisional DVP and approved by the player agent, pre-season practices start around the middle of August and games start around the first week of September (subject to change) and run for approx 8 weeks with a EBBLL tournament around the beginning of November.

  • SPRING SEASON: EBBLL spring season is competitive, players will participate in evaluations and be drafted to a team. Practices start around the beginning of February and games start around the end of February (subject to change) and run for approx 8 weeks (with one week in the middle for spring break, Managers choose whether or not to have a scheduled practice during that week) with a EBBLL tournament around the beginning of May. After the EBBLL tournament there is the possibility of the 50/70 and Seniors division to continue play for the District Strong Team Champions.

: When will I know what team my child is on? When will I know our practice/game schedule?
Answer: For fall: Teams and schedule will be made in August and your manager will contact you in August to let you know all the information. Including, practice days/nights. For Spring:  Teams and schedule will be made in January and your manager will contact you early February to let you know all the information. Including practice days/nights.

: Are there tryouts for East Boynton Little League?
Answer:  No, there are no formal tryouts. Every registered player who is eligible to play will be on a team for both the Spring and Fall seasons. In the Spring, we hold player evaluations in January followed by a team draft. In the Fall, teams are formed based on age, skill level, and other factors—no evaluations or draft.


Question: When is opening day?
Answer: EBBLL has their opening day festivities  mid of February (subject to change) . We have a parade of players starting on field 2 and walking over to field 1 where opening day ceremonies are held, the National Anthem is played, then the president introduces the board of directors along with the previous spring seasons All-star and Strong team players.

Question: How do I become a board member?
Answer: EBBLL has an annual meeting held in November, prior to the meeting we send out requests looking for volunteers to participate on the board of directors, all names are placed on a ballot and sent to the voting membership (consisting of current Board Members, Manager, Game coaches, umpires, volunteers, and honorary members). These ballots are collected and counted on the day of the annual meeting. 14 positions are available for the board of directors.

Question: When are tee ball games and practices?
Answer: Tee ball has practice one night a week at 6:00pm and one game on Saturday.

Question: When are Coach Pitch games and practices?
Answer: Coach Pitch has practice two nights a week at 5:30pm. Once games begin, there will be one practice during the week at 5:30pm  and one game on Saturday.

Question: When are Minors games and practices?
Answer: Minors has practice two nights a week at 6:00pm or 7:30pm. Once games begin, there will be one practice during the week at 6:00pm or 7:30pm, one game during the week at 6:00pm, and one game on Saturday.

Question: When are intermediate/50-70 games and practices?
Answer: Intermediate/50-70 has practice two nights a week at 6:30pm. Once games begin, there will be one practice during the week at 6:30pm,  one game during the week at 6:30pm, and one game on Saturday.

Question: When are Seniors games and practices?
Answer: Juniors/Seniors has practice one to nights a week at 6:30pm or 8:00pm, there will be one game during the week at 6:30pm and one game on Saturday.  Most of the time the Juniors/Seniors Division is a traveling team and will play games as far south as Boca Raton and as far North as North Palm Beach.

Question: How do I become a sponsor?
Answer: EBBLL looks for sponsors during our Fall and Spring season.  For Fall you will receive an email around July for Sleeve Sponsorship opportunities. For Spring Sponsorships, you will receive an e-mail around October asking for sponsorships, you will be sent an application to fill, after completing the application you forward your sponsorship payment and application to the Sponsorship director. 

Question: How can I volunteer to help? 
Answer: You can register to volunteer for your child's team on our website under your registration.

Question: What is the difference between a Manager, Game Coach, Practice Coach and Team Parent?
Answer:  Manager: The Manager is the head of the team; oversees everything related to the team: scheduling, communication, coordinating practices and games, and handling league-related tasks; makes final decisions on the roster, lineup, and game strategy; and acts as the main point of contact between the league and the team. Game Coach: The Game Coach is on the field during games, helping manage players in real time; responsible for coaching during the game—this can include base coaching, pitching (if applicable), and directing defensive plays; and works closely with the manager on strategy and player placement. Practice Coach: The Practice Coach helps run practices; focuses on skill development, throwing, fielding, hitting, base running, etc.; works one-on-one or in small groups with players to help them improve; and may or may not help out during games. Team Parent: The Team Parent handles the off-field logistics for the team; organizes snack schedules, team communication, uniform distribution, and may help with fundraising or team events; and supports the manager so they can focus on coaching duties.
