Congratulations to our East Boynton 8-10 y.o International All-Star team on a phenomenal run this season. These boys fought hard to win the District 7 Championship last week. They went 4-1 throughout the tournament and came out of the losers bracket to win 3 straight games in order to bring home the championship trophy and advance to sectionals!

After losing the first game in the sectional tournament, these kids kept their heads held high. They went out and earned a big win in the second game. Unfortunately this wasn’t enough to advance. While we would have loved to advance and keep playing, the journey was awesome!

This was one of the hardest working group of kids I have ever coached and probably the best defensive teams I have ever coached. Some of the plays that were made during this 7 game stretch were absolutely incredible! I know they will continue to work and we will be a force to be reckoned with for the next few years! I can promise you that these other teams now know that East Boynton is FORREAL.
I’d like to give a huge shoutout to my assistant coaches and all those that helped us at practice. Coach Charlie, Coach Fraga, Coach Guffey, Coach Zeller; I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity and pleasure to coach with you all! I believe the parents could see how much we truly care about these kids when they saw 4 grown men trying to hold back tears while giving our final speeches! It was an absolute pleasure coaching this team and none of us wanted it to end. I hope to do it all again with you guys!
Last, but not least, I would like to thank all the parents and fans that supported us throughout this journey. You were all incredible! The kids are extremely lucky to have you all by their side! These kids will remember these days for the rest of their lives and none of it is possible without the support of their family and friends! Thank you all for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of these kids lives. I am extremely thankful for the memories we have made! On behalf of myself and the rest of the coaching staff, it was an absolute joy coaching this group! I’m ready for Spring 2024 already!!
