The 2021 8U EBBLL All-Star team was an extremely talented group of athletes.  However talent alone usually doesn't end in a championship.  The 8U team won the 2021 All-Star championship because of hard work, focus, dedication, and rising to meet the challenges that they faced.  Clutch hitting, great base running, and an amazing defense that played well beyond their years led to rolling through the seeding portion of the tournament with a 3-1 record.  We opened the tournament by defeating Wellington 5-2 and continued the momentum with a 10-7 victory against Boca Raton, then cruised past Delray National 12-1. After securing the first overall seed we lost a hard fought 1 run walk off game.  In the best of 3 Championship series we started off with a clutch walk off 4-3 victory against Wellington.  However, Wellington was up for the challenge and squeaked by us 3-2 in game 2.  With everything on the line in game 3, the defense that carried us through the entire tournament was at its best and we locked down a 5-1 victory for the Championship.  All 14 players on this team are talented and we are all looking forward to many more championships in the years to come.  The 8U players were Aiden “AJ” Ferguson, Brayden “Cheetah” Janisko, Brent “Buffalo” Mohl Jr., Dylan “Splinter” Zeller, Elijah “Shines” Marchione, Jackson “Volztron” Volz, Jackson “The Beast” Weiss, Jake “The Machine” Fishman, Jake “The Snake” Jandoli, John Anthony “Antz” Robilio, Mason “Gorilla” Gonzalez, Shane “Monster” Backoff, Tristan “Bull” Clancy and Tiernan “T” Fowler.  The coaches were Joel Volz, Brent Mohl, Matt Zeller, and Farrah Weiss
